'Should I join?'
Absolutely, and it doesn't matter if you haven't got a boat yet as there are plenty of members who will give you free advice and in some cases let you try a boat! We have sailing boats, speed boats of all sizes (electric only, no fuel based due to pond regulations), tugs, ferries, tankers, narrow boats, small cruises to name but a few. The best time to visit if you are not a member is between 10 and 2pm Sundays or Wednesdays. The gate access is locked but walk down and someone will happily come and let you in. They will also let you out WITHOUT forcing you to become a member!! (Check the 'Where are we' page to find us!)

Pond sailing times:-
Sailing takes place every Sunday and Wednesday
The majority of members are there generally between 10am - 2pm
HOWEVER.. As a member you will have key access and can use the pond ANY time on Sundays and Wednesdays
